DDR Dance Mat

We all know the pop-culture hit “Dance Dance Revolution” that came out in Japanese arcades in 1998. Since its release, it has spread across the globe like wildfire, encouraging people to dance and to make fools of themselves- all while losing weight.

Typically, the game is played with a dance pad. You step on arrows as they appear on the screen, and get points. Through all of this moving, one can lose a lot of weight, all while having fun.

Tired of breaking a sweat? Don’t worry, Nintendo has approved a new peripheral that lets you use your fingers- instead of your feet. The new USB powered dance mat is perfect for the Dance Dance Revolution enthusiasts that can’t get enough, and have to play it at work- or where a dance pad can’t be placed. The finger pad even comes with a finger puppet- adding style to your mix while you are finger-dancing.

The finger-pad will run you a mere $10 for on-the-go dancing. The best part is, you don’t have to have a game console or computer- just follow the LED lights on the pad. (Much like the game Simon) If you are a dancing enthusiast, or looking for a way to kill time at work, this is a must have.
