Freedom Mini Duo KeyboardUnless you’re one of those guys that can type like crazy fast on your little smartphones, you are probably going to like this. I’m with you all on that for some of us, the nano sized keys are simply not the most convenient ways to type. At times, I just wish that I could somehow pull out my Logitech keyboard right out of my black Converse bag, somehow get it to work with my Blueberry and get it going.

Well, Proporta.com gives me some hope in the future now! The Freedom Mini Duo Keyboard, priced at $69.95 has a fully Qwerty keyboard that can be folded up – to some extent, up to a size a tad bit bigger than your average credit card! This is a size of 92 x 71 x 12mm (3.6 x 2.8 x 0.24 inches!). When open, it only ends up being 176 x 71 x 6mm (6.9 x 2.8 x 0.47 inches). Also weighing at a measly 83 gms (3 ozs), you can’t get any smaller really! The keyboard comes with two modes at SPP (Serial Port Profile) and HID (Human Interface Device) and is to have a battery life of 9 hours of continuous use and 45 hours of standby time, with being able to be recharged via the USB cable. Not only that, but the keyboard also has Bluetooth capabilities with connectivity up to 10 meters, if your device does indeed support Bluetooth technology.

Great idea indeed. I’d be happy be laugh at the guy next to me trying to poke those little buttons while I pull out my Freedom Mini Duo Keyboard! Qwerty baby!

That’s adorable! However, lol..i have xv6700 with fold out keyboard. 🙂 but that is neat. it would be especially cool if they could make those little keyboards for those with regular phones that aren’t blackberry or pocket pc style. those are a REAL bitch to use.
