Ionic Air PurifierThis little gadget, which looks abouth the size of a normal USB key, supposedly cleans the air in it’s vicinity and purifies it from such evil things as cigarette smoke and even bacteria and viruses.

If this is true and it really works, the Ionic Air Purifier would be the perfect gadget for non-smoking cubical office workers and poor students in small rooms with no air circulation. But I somehow doubt the effectiveness.

    Hi

I have seen these lates Ionic Air Filters and must admit that I wasn’t that impressed. Like with anything scaled down and in its first stage of design they are likely to be just another ‘gimmick’. Although the purifier did work I’m not convinced it did a good enough job. The analogy I can use is like putting a camera and a small lens on your mobile phone. The camera will be able to take pictures but teh quality is still not as good as a ‘proper’ size camera with a proper size lens.
These USB filters are great as gifts but I would not spend money on one myself and I already own several Ionic filters.
