Yes it is true, the little Tomato Mini is looking to compete with Apple for the small music player market and the signs are that they are making an impression.

Tomato Mini

The Tomato is a small music player similar to that of the shuffle, which now comes in four bright colors, whereas the Tomato Mini is only available in black or white. Tomato is designed and built in Korea, yet that should not really affect the sales or demand, after the are a whole host of electrical and come to think of it many other products too, that are built in China, the quality is excellent.

Tomato Mini Black

Coming on the standard memory sizes of 512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB, the Tomato Mini is only 1.9 inches in length and weighs a mere half an once, so it is easy to see why this little music player is so popular, it also has a screen which the iPod does not. But even more than the usual iPod and MP3 features, the Tomato Mini can voice read, maintain a contact list and is capable of e book reading.

So as you can probably tell the Tomato Mini is more than match when compared to other MP3 players in that particular price and memory size bracket, the price for the Tomato Mini is as follows, 512 MB is $42, 1 GB is $63 and the 2 GB is only $85, that is a lot of tech for a little price.

Tomato or Apple this choice is going to have to be yours.
