It is just amazing how some things can turn into. The Nintendo Wii has been a major console where innovators have been able to run their minds at full throttle. We are turboGadgets have actually already reported on a Wiimote gun and a Wii steering wheel, but we just found out that the Wii can be something even more.
An eBay user decided that it’d be cool to put together a PC that will also be in a sense, a Nintendo Wii. The beast was to be run under an AMD Athlon 64 3500+ with HyperThreading technology, a 2GB of DDR400 RAM, Radeon X1800 Crossfire Edition, two SATA2 160gb drives configured in RAID 0, along with an integrated Wii, was to begin at $1300 USD.
Just WOW by the specs of it. The machine actually received a 3dmark03 score of 14500. Simply a dream for gamers. Not only that, in the Windows XP Pro desktop, you’d actually be able to minimize the screen and all so that technically, you won’t HAVE TO be playing Wii games only. Infact, the eBayer put a little space on the case where you’d be able to “hang” your Wii controller when not in use.
How did this auction end? Unfortunately, 0 bids. 🙁 The idea seemed to be great, but I guess no one was too interested in it. I’d personally want to keep the Wii and my computer separate, unless I was playing Twilight Princess secretly at 4 AM in the morning…
