Pocketec’s USB 12GB 1″ HDD

It looks nice and it will impress your friends: the Pocketec NANO 12GB HDD. But still I have to ask myself it is useful: why not go for the much saver and reliable flash memory USB drives? The problem about the Pocketec NANO is that it is so small you are going to be throwing it into your rucksack and HDDs just don’t like to be shaken around too much.

Not only is it not as reliable as flash memory, but the Pockettec NANO 12GB, which uses the Seagate ST1.3 1″ drive, is not cheap. It is currently only available in Korea for the rough equivalent of $210.
