The only downside with the Nano is the fact that despite all of its good points, like style and massive memory, but with all that there is no facility for recording. Which is very disappointing for a prestige item and more than that from the top design and style icons Apple.

Micro MemoWell it has taken somebody else to come up with, but who cares about that, the simple fact is that a company named Xtreme Mac have developed an recording device called the Micro Memo that attaches quickly and simply to the iPod Nano and enables the users to record sound, but in keeping with the iPod style, the recording device is slim and stylish, it is a two part piece of equipment, consisting of an adapter that fits into the standard headphone jack and the microphone itself fits into this adapter, all nice and neat, in fact the adapter part when fitted actually fits flush to the body of the iPod so it does not look like the is anything extra added to it.

The Micro Memo is only compatible with the second generation iPod Nano and the iPod Video and works using the iPods own display and function keys, which make the operation easier. As for color choice the Micro Memo comes in two colors black and white, which considering that they are the main the colors of the iPod Nano and iPod Video.

The features of the Micro Memo are:

The Micro Memo is priced at around $60.
