Citizen has always been at the fore front of watch making technology, from the first digital type watches and though to their latest offering, the watch that has a bluetooth capability.

Before your mobile phone rings, your watch will pick up the signal coming through and alert you before the mobile rings, this will give you an advantage if you are away from your desk, outside or traveling, I cannot even imagine to begin to count how many calls I have missed when my mobile phone has been in the pocket of my coat or when being out in a busy street, with this watch you will never miss another call again.

Another cool little feature is if you leave the phone somewhere, the watch will detect that the distance is to far and alert you to the fact that you may have left your mobile phone somewhere, now that is a pretty good tool, how many times have people left their phones in places and have not realized until it is far to late?

The watch is going to be launch in the middle of March, but initially that will be for just Japan, but it will surely move around the globe as it becomes more and more popular.

You know how it is, your in the kitchen or out in the garden, the door bell rings, obviously you cannot get to it immediately, so what do you do? Nothing or pick up your mobile phone and talk to who ever it at your door, sounds like something that would help you, then read on.

The GSM Door Bell by Waleli a Netherlands based wireless innovation company, is the doorbell that allows you to use your mobile phone to speak to the person at your door.

How does it work? The door bell looks different to other door bells, it is larger than the average door bell but then you would expect that. What happens is someone presses the door bell and it rings as normal, but for some you are unable to get the door, but you do not have to, because this door bell rings your mobile phone, so not only can you answer the door when it is impractical to do so, but you can even answer you own front door when you are away from home, maybe even at work or on holiday. So you are able to speak to the person at the door and they can talk to you by pressing the intercom button, what’s more if it is someone that you know, you would be even able to open the door for them, because the door bell is also connected to the door as an electronic door catch, which enables you to open the door by entering a password or pin number via the mobile phone keypad and all they have to door is pull or push the door to get in, it is clearly great for people with kids who forget their keys or if you get an unexpected visit from a friend or relative, how cool is that?

But even an better and probably life saving use for this, is if somebody has had and accident at home, maybe they are elderly or very young, if they are injured and cannot get to the phone or the door then they could be in serious trouble, but by simply having their mobile phone they are able to call the emergency services and let them into their home without any hassle at all.

Just in time for the beginning of the world famous Paris Fashion Week, Nokia have mange to throw a few things together in order to show off how their designs can be just a breath taking as the clothes that will be appearing on the catwalks.

You can place this phone in any position and in any place that you feel it will be of any use.

Basically the 3rd I system is a cross between a camera and a mobile phone, what you do is set the camera up where want it, the phone is a mobile phone, so there is no need for the device to be placed near a phone socket or even an electrical socket, as the battery will last for some days on the 3rd I device but if you are going away for some time, then clearly you will need this to be plugged into the mains in order for it to stay operational for long enough. The device is then set, you can choose the type of setting but the most effective would be the motion detector which works on the principal that if some one or some thing crosses the phones or cameras path then this will activate the system, this will then send your mobile phone an alert or will cal you, then you are able to take the appropriate action.

Apart from that you are able to access the camera by calling the number and accessing it by using your unique PIN number, so not only do you have peace of mind, you can also show off to your friends all the gear that you have, like your new wall mounted plasma TV, no one believes you at work, but you can prove it by calling up the camera.

There are other possibilities open to this type of technology, like protecting your stock if you own a shop or something like, then you can see who is stealing your stock while you are away, keeping an eye on the kids, pets and anything else that you can think of that needs to be looked after or look into, because the camera phone is totally portable it can be placed in any location that you feel is necessary.

The phone camera will cost around £200 about $380 US, but there is a need to have a contract, which can range from £10 to £50 per month depending on which type of service you, require.

It is every dog owners nightmare, you let the dog out into your garden, and five minutes later he has gone, where he has gone you do not know, because you got called away or had to do something, but like small children, it only takes a minutes for the worst to happen.

So your dogs gone, what do you do now, you can walk or drive around looking for him, but in reality that is not going to work, simply because dogs go a different way to cars, they do not follow the roads or paths they just go route one in straight direction to where they want to go. By the time that you have got your shoes on or got the car started he would be well away anyhow, so what on earth can an owner do to help them find their dog? Give him a mobile phone is the answer, and no not to call him and ask him where he is, but to use the GPS that a lot of mobile phones have these days.

How this works is the owner can set a sort of limit to where the dog can go, so if he runs off then you would be alerted and you can get after him fast, before he gets a long way away. But the best feature and think that everyone will agree with me here is that the manufacturers have added a call home button, oh it is as cool as it sounds, there is a button on the collar that will call you if the dog gets lost, I just really want to see the dog that does that one, it would be so funny on YouTube. But seriously the call home button is just in case the dog is found by someone all they need do is press the button and you can quickly be on your way to get the dog,

We have seen quite few of these emergency mobile phone chargers come and go, yet this one looks to be more promising than the others, as it small, neat and you only need a single AA battery to power it, but even if the battery has little or no power, you will still be able to charge you phone up by using one of the many adapters that come with it in the box. Which makes this ideal for when traveling, as it will give you up to two hours battery power depending on how you are using your phone.

To charge your phone, you need no mains connection, you simply slip your AA battery into the mobile charger, connect your phone using the matching connector for your phone, connect the other end to the charger, and that is it the phone should be charging now and will be indicated by the phones own icon.

The cost of this life saving device, is a mere £6 or $10 US.

The ranks of the mobile phones have been added to once again, this time by HFC and the S710 is the phone that they want you to use.

The phone comes with the new windows mobile 6.0 standard platform, which is more enhanced than the previous version, and therefore enables the use of business and other tools, making this mobile a better and easier tool to use for those purposes.

With the applications on this phone it is easy work to write and read email, browse the web, look at documents and PDF’s, and stay connected with windows live so your emails will arrive in the inbox because your phone can stay connected.

The phone comes with wireless technology so you are able to connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which will give you the option to change to the better network of your choice. When connected you will be able to write your text via the full key board (qwerty fans love this) that slides out when needed.

If all that is not enough the S710 has a 2.0 mega pixel camera for taking pictures and video clips, and these can viewed on the now standard on mobile phones, 2.4 inch screen.

If I were to describe the phone in detail, it would take forever there are that many features to tell you about, this is due to be available on T Mobile and with A, T & T, as soon as they can get hold of enough them.

Verizon Wireless have recently announced their V Cast Mobile TV and Cingular – AT & T have also announced that they will be using Qualcomms Media Flo technology to enable their mobile phones to be able to receive live TV on its phones.

The Nokia N77 will have live TV via the DVB-H technology to be viewed on its 2.4 inch and 16 million color flat screen, what’s more is that there is even a TV button on the front which saves all the fiddling around to find the right service on the phones menu overtime that you want to watch a bit of TV.

There is a lot of negative feedback regarding being able to watch TV on the mobile phone, and there may be a time when we are all watching our favorite TV shows or sports events on mobile phones, and we may look back and think how crazy we were back in 2007 when you had to sit down in a dedicated room in your house just to watch TV, what a waste of space and time. Maybe by using the mobile phone for things like watching TV, it might just give us more time to do other things in life too.
