Canon’s PowerShot TX1 is small 7.1 Megapixel HD camera, which can capture video in 720p HD resolution. It offers upto 10x optical and 4x digital zoom and using Canon’s Digic technology it will detect faces and will reduce the red eye effect. The TX1 offers an ISO rage of 80 right up to 1600 and stores it’s data on SD, SDHC, MMC, or MMC Plus cards and connects to your computer via USB (does anybody else wish Firewire were still around?). It’s going to retail for $499.
Is it just me or does the Canon PowerShot TX1 HD cam look a little retro in it’s design?!

The Canon’s PowerShot TX1 is really small and handy.
Any chance of a review on this camcorder? The box shape is a little strange…
Thanks for the review. I have been looking for a good camcorder and this one, with it also being a recognised name, is/was at the top of my wanted list.
