If you are as old as I am then you will remember that floppy disks used to be the brains behind our old computers, in fact without the faithful floppies the computers in those days were more or less quite useless.

So you can imagine how I felt when I found this fantastic product notepads made out of old floppy disks, this is great stuff, not only do us oldies get reminisce on how it used to be, but for all the youngsters out there it gives them a chance to see how hard we had it, and how easy things are today, but is that not what all older people say to youngsters right throughout history.

Think Geek the aptly named company have put together these writing journals as they call them, where notes of all types can be written down, yes using a pen to writing with, I just know that there are going to be some people who don’t get this, but these things are really great, its like holding a piece of computer history in hands.

The writing journals come in three sizes, 3.5”, 5.25” and 8” these were the real thing, if you are lucky you may get some that have labels on them, or that are colored, if not the color will be black, but they will not be around for ever, simply because the supply of these floppy disks are limited and when they have all gone, that is it, finished.
The prices of the writing journals are as follows, 3.5” is $6.99, 5.25” is $13.99 and the 8” would be $19.99.
