Sony Ericsson unveiled W880 (Ai) Walkman music phone

Sony Ericsson W880 (Ai) The long wait has finally come to an end. The much hyped (Ai) Walkman music phone by Sony Ericsson was unveiled today amidst much fanfare. Apart from this, Sony Ericsson has also announced a suite of musical accessories which it claims will “enhance the Walkman phone listening experience”.

This particular model is Sony Ericssons’s slimmest walkman mobile with just 9.4 mm thickness, which is as slim as a standard CD case. W880 (Ai) has got 2 mega pixel camera and is fitted with a 1 GB memory stick Micro (M2) card. With this huge memory it is possible to store in 900 full length songs.

The users can enhance their listening experience of their W880 (Ai) Walkman phone with the help of two new music accessories, which are, the Bluetooth™ Music Receiver MBR-100 and Portable Speakers MPS-70. Also, a software named Disc2Phone music management will enable the user to transfer music from PC directly to their phone very easily.

As regards the battery of W880 (Ai), Sony Ericsson claimed that it is capable to play music for 20 long hours and 6 hours 30 minutes of talk time. This model will, however, be available from the first quarter of 2007 only in the select markets.
