The new Canon HV20 is finally being further revealed! This morning, Canon surprised a lot of us by showcasing its latest and upcoming HD . With an impressive 1080 high-definition video in a 16:9 ration screen, the new HV20 looks more powerful than ever! With a 10x optical zoom along with other various features, the does seem like competitive product. Despite the fact that it will not have a built-in hard drive, the ability to use MiniDV tapes and miniSD memory cards, depending on whether you want to take a video or a 2.96 mega pixel still shot. Not only that but the 24p Cinema Mode, which is supposed to be hidden card for the HV20, is set to change you into the next Steven Spielberg!

Canon HV20

This $1,099 baby can easily be hooked up with your latest massive HDTV for you to enjoy yet an even more clearer world via the Canon HV20. It is set to arrive in March 2008. A bit of a long wait, but that only gives more time for Canon to further improve the features in HV20. We are not too excited about the MiniDV cards as if it is going to be coming out in 2008, a huge hard drive may be the better option. But then, maybe Canon will make a move to the HDDs, or they may surprise us once again with another alternative; but the MiniDV doesn’t seem to be a sufficient replacement though.
