Sony’s Playstation 3 has been having some problems getting sold lately in Canada, probably due to stiff competition and it being the most expensive console on the market.
So how does Sony combat this? They don’t! In fact, they just increase the price of the Playstation 3 and make it even more expensive, now clocking in at Canadian $699.99 compared to Canadian $659.99 before.
This means that the Candian and US price are exactly the same, which may seem fair, but according to reports by The Inquirer the Candian consumers are “fuming”.

I think you’re info is all wrong. Only Futureshop and Best Buy has increased their prices. Sony’s SRP is still $659.99 and most stores will sell at that price. Sales slow in Canada? Not the case. PS3 is still unavailable in most of Canada due to shipment shortages.
