The much hyped ‘Age of Conan’ initially slated to have released in 2006 was delayed and postponed many a times. Finally, Publisher Eidos and developer Funcom have come out with the announcement that the Age of Canon will be released in the month of October 2007. The official explanation for the delay in its release was said to be to “further hone the qualities of the game”.
However, the date of release of this game, that is, October 2007 is for the PC version, whereas till now no dates have been announced for the release of Xbox 360 version. It is expected that once the co-publishers successfully launch the PC version, the Xbox 360 version will come in its trail.
Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, according to Gaute Godager, founder of Funcom and Game Director is “a lush and vibrant world to live in… a game that will appeal to a broad range of players”. According to Godager, “it will now be possible to pack more punch into the brutal world of Conan”. Gamers can log on to www.ageofconan.com for further details.
