Security fix released by Apple for QuickTime

Apple patches QuickTimeThere were several flaws in the media player program for which Apple has come up with security updates. Due to the flaw discerned, both Windows and Mac OS X versions of QuickTime are at risk as because due to it, a hacker could have his access over a computer.

QuickTime Mac users can directly download the patch from Apple Downloads or also can download free updates provided by Apple using OS X’s Software Update system.

Apple has earned the remark of ‘dysfunctional company when it comes to security issues’ from the Month of Apple Bugs (MoAB) project researcher Kevin Finnestere and the hacker by his online nickname “LMH”.

However, many bug yet remains, which will have to fix very soon. researchers are also not willing to let Apple know about the vulnerabilities until and unless they unveil it in public.
